Think was over yesterday. Hard to tell from lack of media (ok so social media).
I want wanted to fish it as Non-Boater but it follows a event I can't get out of since last Dec when they put it together..
Ty! Forgot about this one. Was disappointed by lack of coverage for last weeks event. This one will be live. Can listen on boats radio while fishn for fun.
Practice started yesterday. Saw plenty of prefishers on the lake from Wolf Creek.
Good Luck to them.
Jason Christie has a good article on Grand Lake on Bassmasters about the where and fall Grand Lake challenge.
I felt better after reading it.
Come on cold weather.!
Weigh in Saturday is at Bass Pro Shops in Broken Arrow for the top 10.
I can’t find a list of participating pros for this tournament…anybody have a link?

Dang good bag for the leader and number 2.
Setting on big fish and taking as long as it takes to get it to bite.
Interesting but could wear me out wondering if the fish would ever eat.
Lots of small bags. Tough time of year.
142 pros with less than 10lbs. On day one.
15 with Zero.
50 CO’s with Zero.
Hope they catch a few today!
Interesting watch today of the recorded show from yesterday.
WhopperPlopper in black for the win!

I fished Saturday on Grand. I threw a Torpedo Chrome/Black and a Chrome Redfin.
The Redfin drew three strikes but no hookups. Weird.
Torpedo got skunked.
Zillions of shad with an occasional kamikazee bass slashing through them drove me nuts.
Caught one small fish out of the mess. Later in the day a few bigger fish were tearing into them with some dramatic surface strikes. Got the blood pumping but again I struck out. Went back through my tackle last night and found a few new baits to throw next time.
And I found the one black whopperplopper I own.
It will get some water time.
I went out Saturday around 8:30 after watching the show on FS1...was able to see the big boys catching bass on the plopper near my place. Hit it with a bone El Chappo (Berkley Whopper rip-off...doesn't roll over as much). Was able to land fish for about 45 minutes b4 uncharged trolling motor said enough. Had a good time and was glad to get the bites. Tried again Sunday and caught a few small ones.... Was tired of messing with those winds (hard white caps even in coves) & called it a weekend. Caught fish...happy camper. Was sure nice seeing live action from Grand. Felt better about my fishing after the tourney!
