Considering a couple day fishin trip to Wheeler in late November or early December and lookin for good place to stay. I’m thinking in the Elk River area and would prefer some type of cabin/cottage over a hotel. Any suggestions?

Stay at cabins at Joe Wheeler state of Alabama lodge. They have cabins at main lodge and also on South side of river near dam.
I’m leaning that way.
