    Engine Alarm Going Bad - Location?

    250 Pro XS Serial 2B087425 engine warning alarm only making faint sound sometimes when key on. It is otherwise inop. Where is it normally located? In the dash near the key switch? Is it a mercury part? Thanks!

    Yes, somewhere close to key switch.

    Yes, only buy the merc alarm when replacing.

    I replaced mine because it was intermittent only to find out my issue was my cannon plug connection.
