    BBC HALL OF FAME ?

    .. SHAME Or both?

am I the only one that thinks it would be interesting to see the nominations? And there reasoning behind it? There are many great individuals that cross paths here. Some occasionally, some frequently, and others constantly contributing. I suspect many others follow and lurk .

As we cross paths with all the gentlemen( and a lady here and there)knot just across the country, but several countries/continents, we hear there opinions, there contributions, strengths, weaknesses and so on. We are all judge mental to some point or another in regards to everything. So what’s your judgment on a BBC HALL OF FAME??
    Hall of SHAME?

I think there are many people here that would deserve recognition for all they have contributed to the fellow members.. and a small few that would fit the never gonna happen category. So what does everyone think? I can think of several members that I would put in the HALL OF FAME.. and my reasoning behind my feelings. And a few for the latter as well. I will refrain from my list of both sides and let the fellowship ponder the idea and the long term benefits. Imagine that individual that helped thousands, that is no longer with us but would be forever remembered as a cornerstone contributor of knowledge to those he has be known or met. A Hall of fame page that those who come later could scroll through, and see all his insight at the click of the search button. The reason he is in the Hall.. allowing his contributions to continue on .. I feel current and past members alike should be eligible. Keep in mind that with all of the forums we have here , many of these individuals don’t play in the lounge. They are helping people troubleshoot there wiring, overcome an engine or plumbing issue, or preventing them from making a terrible investment..and on ..and on..

I do think it would be a good thing to honor some of the members who have helped out. ( the shame hall was a joke.. kinda !!)

Its crystal clear who would get my first nomination, and for good reasons.. first one .. because he is BBC ..
he also would be the decider in said ideas.. so what is your take on the subject Al?

..and what is the consensus view?

Dale Sinclair, Gibs Daddy and Hunt22 (?) come to mind. I think Dale was banned, but I don't know the particulars. I always admired his accent and siggys.

Absolutely.... so there’s a chance of a forum or sticky to honor those who are deserving? I realize the added work, the enduring process of nomination/elimination but clearly you know that many are deserving of a tribute.. and likely many that flew under the radar.. ( stayed out of the lounge)

I have 74,000+ posts, Don has 87,000+ posts and ChampioNman (Fred) has 70,000+ posts. That shows just how much Don and Fred have helped members over the years.
