Two part story Tackle warehouse/ Awesome BBC Member

This story begins with heads up about tackle warehouse. Did you know that you can order a dozen or more times and ship to your home address set up your account to ship to your home account but automatically will ship to the last address you shipped to on your next order. In my case , after a dozen or so orders to my home, last Christmas I sent a BBC Christmas gift to a member in Florida Alex Udwari (aka udee2159). On my next order about two weeks ago I completed my order , elected Pay pal to pay and assumed they would ship to my home. I have both pay pal and tackle warehouse set up to ship to Illinois. At no point in the ordering process did I elect to ship to Florida. My first confirmation from Tackle warehouse didn't mention shipping to Florida, My shipping confirmation came as a letter that made no mention of shipping to Florida above the thank you and signature of the e-mail. Only if you happen to randomly scroll down to the bottom of the e-mail would you see the shipping address which I didn't do. Yesterday I decided to follow up on my order and saw that it shipped to Florida. I called TW and was told there was nothing they could do, and completely dismissed doing anything about helping me out to get my product. That concludes my FYI about TW, needless to say I wasn't happy.

On to the good. So the BBC Member who I have never met personally receives the package yesterday and deduces that I must have accidently had the lures shipped to him and Alex proactivly contacts me to inform me . (Wow Amazing ) !! I offered to pay for the shipping to Illinois and Alex said , don't worry I got it. I wanted to bring to light the TW procedure so it doesn't happen to another member but really I wanted to highlight once again how special our community is . Thanks Alex I truly appreciate your gesture and if ever you want to fish for smallies on Lake Michigan or another lake in my region , you have a seat in my boat.

    Good job Alex!!!!!

I guess that's another reason why I will buy stuff from 50 other vendors before buying anything from TW.

What? How was this TW's fault? I sure don't see it that way. Their order form software wants to know if your billing address is still the same, and if you want it shipped to that address or another...pretty much like any other online store.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I agree. Kudos to the guy sending it to him, but this sounds like user error.

I have stuff shipped to Texas and Canada and I've never ordered from anywhere that didn't default shipping to the billing address. Any other shipping address has had to be entered manually for each order. Using the last address by default is BS.

Same exact thing happened to me a few years ago.

Funny thing is the BBC member liked the stuff I ordered so he kept it and paid for my replacement order to be shipped to me.
