    Jack Plate is “jacked up”

Atlas hydraulic Jack plate has shifted inside the slide. Any suggestions? I know the Allen key is not holding the black slide to the main plate but when I lower it, the “jacked up” side remains about 1/2” too high.
I’m not sure how to go about adjusting it back in place

I loosened the Allen set screws, tilted and turned the engine so the weight shifted to the right side which straightened the jack plate. I tightened the Allen screws back. However, I think those Allen screws are just not holding it tight enough to that plate.

I’ve seen that before. I always looked at that as the plate being tweaked and starting to flex out. Maybe not idk. But I did see one replaced at a bass open before. The service guys took the motor off and replaced the back half of the plate all in about a hour or less. One of the reasons I like the bobs plate over atlas. Th marine should go good on the plate i would imagine.

Upon investigation, the set screws which were threaded into that plastic holder were not strong enough over time to hold that plate stable. I drilled it out and re-tapped it. I then tapped threads about a quarter inch into the plate itself. I now have stainless steel 1/4”x1” Allen head bolts threaded through the plastic and into the plate itself.
    I don’t think it’ll move now.
