Get an engine cover from Russell Marine or tuffskinz.HAs same look as a motor cover.I put one one mine when the boat was new 2 yrs ago.Motor looks like new with the cover removed.
There are protective covers you can get for them. I would look into sanding it down and repainting it. There are a few sponsors that do that and make it look better than new with any type of graphic theme you want on it. I've seen some cool ones.
Yes there are engine wraps out there. Had a buddy that had his cowling lookin like snake.

A vinyl shop will wrap anything. Literally, anything.
I've been planning on wrapping my cowling from the beginning. The thick stuff used on the front of cars.
Find a local shop and have it painted and re-decaled…I paint a bunch every year for customers.

Have you done a clear protective wrap? That would make sense for new motors
I was wondering if anyone has done hydrodipping to a cowl before,,,or is it possible?
