    Ultrex Bushing Replacement

    Little how to on replacing the outer bushings that crack a lot on the ultrex mounts

    Changed mine not long ago. 3 of the 4 screws came out easy. That last one took a lot of persuasion.

    Mine ended up being pretty dang loose. I’m just glad they’re torx for that very reason.

    Yawl need to put red Loctite on the screws. That will stop them from backing out.

    showed everything but putting the bushings in. wasted my time....

    Not a good video!

    Step #1 should be to remove the piston pin with the TM in the stowed position and the last step to reinstall.

    JC Racing bushings are far superior to OEM bushings.

    Wouldn't that be the exact same amount of work? I prefer to keep the piston in to help lower the trolling motor without having all the weight on yourself to remove it. I should've included actually putting the bushing in, but I thought that was pretty self explanatory for what it's worth. I'll look into the Delron ones next time. MK should put those in anyway for what a TM costs.
