What the hell r crappie?
Crappie is how Santa Flush usually fishes
Stroker / 250xs
Triton 180 / 175 pro xs
Never caught giants in Santa fe but than again only did it a few times with wife. Caught alot of small ones. They averaged 8 to 12 inches. Rodman i catch'em 15 plus inches 2 1/4 Pnds roughly.
I have done well with Crappie in Lochloosa, plenty of size and tasty too. I have heard that they fish well in Rodman, going to try it this fall. Ive caught numbers in Santa Fe, but like Mauler says, small ones...

Newnan's Lake use to be a big time crappie lake. Not sure about now.
Aint no crappie here. Dont exist, now specs are prevalent and eat like fresh water flounder BUT id be afraid to eat anything out of these lakes that get constantly sprayed with known cancer agents. Roundup has shown up in manatte's. Why wouldnt it show up in fish as well?
Speckled Perch (specs) name was mainly used from Michigan folks, Manatee Mauler are you saying you prefer to use the northern term !! of course they have many names: Croppie, Crappie`, Paper mouths, Strawberry Bass, Speckled Perch, Crappie bass, Oswego Bass, White perch, Black perch and the Cajun term sac-a-laif...
Spanky's term DINNAH!!!!, especially dusted in flour and introduced to some hot oil....
