    Stratos 22 SS set up

I have searched the posts for something on this boat without much help so figured I would just throw it out there and hope for some info

My boat is a 2000 Stratos 22 SS Extreme, 2017 Rude 250 HO Etec, 7 inch slide master manual jack plate, rx4 25 pitch 4 blade with all holes open. Runs 5800 a wot, prop to pad 3-3/4. 69. 5 mph a little chine walk. Once it hits 70 all hell breaks loose and there is no controlling it. Hold shot non existent with tournament load. Probably 3-400 yds by myself. No rooster tail at all at wot and full trim. Same jack plate since new. Thinking 12 “ set back atlas hydraulic in the near future. Was originally a 225 with a 25 4 blade but only ran 5200. Went to a 23 4 blade and ran 64 gps at 5800 until that motor went. Sorry if I left out any info. Any ideas? Thanks.

So, just to make sure, you don't really know what WFO is? Full throttle/full trim?

I have only been around one of those, but it was with Todd Morgan who is the best setup person there is. He ran a lot higher with a 26 trophy, and was clear you don't run full trim, that hull wants high and flat. It was similar to a Allison type setup, with the deep narrow pad, you have to start driving it from the start.

Your holeshot is a concern, do you have all the exhaust vents open?
