250 SHO digital speedometer spraying water

Hey guys, just picked up a 2013 FX 21 with a 250 SHO on it. When I run it, all is fine until it hits about 65 MPH. When it hits that, it starts spraying water from behind the speedometer. Any ideas what causes this or how to fix it?

Pitot tube that runs from the motor to the back of the speedometer sounds faulty.

Find the faulty line. Replace as needed.

    Above is correct.

An alternate option is get the SHO speed sensor which is housed under the cowling, then sends an electronic signal to the speedo. You would need to update the speedo but this would eliminate pressurized waterlines under your console near your electronics.
