    jack plate size on new 518 w/200

    im going to be picking up a new 2022 518 next week!super stoked!..what would be the recommended plate size?

    I have a 2021 518 w/200 and it has a 6" slidemaster on it. Ordered in March,got it in July. Congrats!!

    I have a 2019 518L with a 200 Mercury 4 stroke with a 8 inch Slidemaster manual set back plate.

    No my best is 66 with one person, they fish great just not the fastest boat out there.

    I saw 66 gps with 2 in the boat @ 5740 rpm VVM with a 22p Fury and that was in 90-92 degree surface water temp back in late July. PTP was set at the factory and I haven't checked to see what it is,but WHEN I get it up to 6200 rpm I have no doubts it will turn 70. No it's not an Allison,but it will run as fast as I'll ever need to go.
