    F115 fouling plugs

I just bought a F115TLRD, thing will foul a brand new set of spark plugs in about two min on plane. Will idle forever, check plugs and they're clean, put it on plane and only makes about a min or two. All four plugs are black as night. Had my mechanic check for codes and there was none. Engine has about 800 hours. Plugs are LFR6A Wich I believe are the correct ones. Also the thermostat is brand new, injectors and vst have been cleaned. Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA

I have the same problem but they are not fowling they do have black sootie color around the bottom of the plug not on the electrode and the motor runs fine. Im assuming yours is running bad.

Perform a compression and leakdown. While you are doing that, make sure your engine isn't out of mechanical time. I had one this summer that came in the shop with similar symptoms that was 1 tooth off on the exhaust cam and sooted up plugs terribly.

Check your oil level. Mine was fouling plugs due to the making oil issue.
