    Fuel problem

I have a 2006 201 pro xl with a 225 DI OMC. I am have an intermittent problem with my fuel system loosing prime whereas I have to pump the bulb back up. I have replaced the fuel line and bulb from the tank to the engine and it still happens every once in a while. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried using a remote fuel tank. Might be a line pulling air from the fuel tank. Did you replace the primer bulb with a oem bulb?

I had similar issue when I repowered. Engine would starve for fuel. Do as suggested above and run on a remote tank and primer bulb.
    Issues to look for include.
Defective antisiphon valve, defective fuel line and primer, leaking fittings, defective fuel tank vent and possible restriction in fuel tank pickup tube.
I replaced everything from the fuel pickup to the fuel pump on the engine to correct my issue.
    Good luck.

I had fuel lines that ethanol had broken down, looked like spaghetti inside of them when I replaced them. Engine ran just like you described.

Borrow a remote tank and test it. Anti siphon valve. Were the replacement fuel lines the same inside diameter?
