    Lower unit gear oil

Yamaha lower unit was solid, lasting 21 years! Finally let go and I had it rebuilt. I will change lower unit oil after the initial few hours but I am not sure to stay with amsoil or go with Lucas marine gear oil. Amsoil has served me well but Lucas is alot more accessible. Any thoughts?

I use amsoil whenever I can, but lucas is my second choice on things like that. My grease gun currently has lucas because amsoil has a shortage, I'll probably keep lucas in there indefinitely. I will still go out of my way to get the amsoil marine for the combustion.
