How is everyone finding the bite ????

The last few tourneys I have been in have had really low weights , all across the board and different ponds from the cape and elsewhere . Curious to what everyone else is seeing on this .please post some results if you have any knowledge of them ok

Slim pickings everywhere. Under 5 pounds to win at Wattuppa last weekend. Fish are all messed up.

It needs to get colder soon. I can't believe I am thinking like that.

They were cooperating on the Merrimack River on Sunday. Almost every bite was in main river laydowns, out of the current and right in the thick of it. They were biting a jig & beaver, and you had to put the reel in 4WD to get them out of the snags. Two were crowding 3#, and I pinned and lost 2 good ones. Was in the 'yak, and couldn't fish the nastiest (high%) stuff effectively. I spent over an hour in a reliable grassy backwater, with both T-rig and jerkbait for just one small guy and a few bumps.

Its been good then bad for me....... Have a great day, then go back and get skunks..... last night only one out, and it was beautiful, I think the fish were sitting back sipping beer enjoying the weather and not wanting to play! I was so nice out..... we will see in an hour too.....

Went river fishing and got them good yesterday. I find the rivers are more consistent this time of year.

Hit the Merrimack again yesterday - still on wood, but not as well in the more currented areas. Got 9 in 5-6 hrs. Fishing pressure was up, so they may have been worked over pretty well before I got there around noon. Water temp running 68-70.

    Last Sunday’s 4 hour trip

Mostly 2s with some heavy threes .I throw a jig 99% of the time and honestly I rarely get bit by anything under 1.5… they just don’t eat it .. the lake should be putting out big girls with the feed bag on soon

They were snapping pretty good on the Nashua R. today @Mine Falls. All but one bite @ the outer ends of laydowns exposed to the current with debris washed into it.

Pretty good option, seeing as the boat's still broke

Seriously though, it's darned good. 45# Minnkota, foot rudder steer. Pretty stable standing, except having to bend over to adjust power or punch the pedals for direction. It also weighs a metric ton.

Had a good day, yesterday, wind was pretty good! The smallies, were liking the wind blown shore, about 8-10ft.
