    what prop do I need

    2011 Nitro Z7 with the Merc 150 it came with new. What size prop is needed for this rig?

    That's really vague. You need to provide more specific information like what model 150 it is, a standard or ProXS, current WOT RPM, current pitch prop, and your current max speed for anyone to be able to help you.

    OK. it's a pro XS. 24 in prop now Merc Tempest. 5100 rpm is all this set up get. 50 mph tops

    Test a 21P Tempest plus... Normally the 23P is common on the 150's and 18-19ft boats.

    This is assuming the motor is running at 100%, You are trimming up, and getting full pull on throttle linkage.
