    What us this Part 2

    After running the motor pretty hard today, after I got it on the trailer. I noticed this white chalky substance on the cowling, but couldn't find a source. Anyone seen this before?

    it is polishing compound from the factory
    some moisture was in the cracks an it washed out

    Nuts holding top part of cowling are probably loose and the 2 pieces rubbing together are making a dust that's running out. Flip cowling over and check all fasteners.
