    Livewell treatment?

The previous owner of my boat left a Mason jar full of green crystals in the livewell, I assume that it is some type of livewell treatment but I haven't used it in the 2 years I have had the boat. Does anyone know what it could be and how much to use?

Hmmm, probably is some kind of treatment but I wouldn't use it for fish care if you're not 100% sure. If you are looking to get some G-Juice has worked great for me.

+1 on the G Juice. I used to be a big fan of Please Release Me but the granules actually clogged one of my Livewell pumps during a club tourney on the 1000 islands. I guess it’s not common but not unheard of and others have had similar issues. So now i just use G Juice. It gets the job done when needed. I don’t think I had to put any in at all this year, never lost a fish.

Ditch it and use G juice. Keeps them very alive and angry!

I have a 20 year old Trident aluminum bass boat and live in the Deep South and have no problem with my fish. Now I must admit I rarely weigh in 20+ lb bags, sorry to say.
