    Images not crisp

    Greetings all,

I have not found exactly what I'm looking for so I figured I'd make a post.
    2021 Z20
    Bow electronics:
    Helix g3n
    Helix g4n
    Mega 360
    Hydrowave.
I am wondering if the standard factory wiring is sufficient for all these units?
Dealer had installed the g4n before delivery and I assume they tapped into existing power.
Can a voltage drop effect the clarity of the units pictures?
I'm wondering if I should upgrade wiring to the bow.
I am considering putting a 12 Helix in the place of the helix 9 g3n.
My biggest concern is damage from not enough power and second concern is image clarity.
    Any input would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Turn on the Digital Readouts= Boxes and set one of them for Voltage.

Re wire every thing with a sea clear harness. I am in no way affiliated with them, but i re wired everything using this harness when I installed my mega live and I am blown away at the increased clarity with si and mega 360. And now I have ZERO issues with my network losing connection and my units shutting down when I start my engine.

Also I have run 2 helix, mega 360, hydrowave, up front, and 2 helix at dash. I rewired everything except the hydrowave through the clear view harness. (4 graphs, Mega live, mega 360, 2 Ethernet boxes, and my ultrex heading sensor)

Or, just buy some good 10 gauge wiring, and this winter spend some time learning the wiring of your boat ;)
I run dedicated 10 gauge wire to both my helix units, i would probably run another 10 gauge to anything I add to the front (mega 360 / mega live)

If I had two front units, i would probably see if the 10 gauge wiring would be enough to run a small bus bar or fuse box up front and connect units directly to that.
I enjoy wiring, and getting good water proof solder connections.
for a heck of a lot less than $260 for a sea clear harness, but I know everyone has their own level of proficiency.

I run 8 gauge fire to a fuse box at the console. I do the same to the the front deck. Then I run 10 gauge from each fuse box to the units. Never have I had a problem.
