I have a 98 ProMax OG787344 with the Alien Cowl. I need to remove the lower skirt to get to the lower cowl bolts. It looks like it's a well nut that the bolts screw into and the whole piece is turning and will not come loose. Has anyone ran into this or am I missing something?

There is a brass insert inside the rubber "well" nut. Sometimes you can get ahold of the end of the brass insert with a pair of pliers (allowing you to remove the bolt).

Sometimes you can't.... be careful not to break that skirt because they're not exactly "cheap" to replace.
