    Rod storage

    Can you put rods in the starboard boxes of the elite series or PHX series or is it only the XP series?

    Yes you can. Not sure of the length of rod you can store thou because you lose a bit of length due to the cooler.

    You could put shorter rods on that side. You lose probably 16-18 inches with the day box.

    I have not tried but I have 26 in the Port side and 4 in the co-angler box

    Did you take out the rod holder at the front of the locker and just pile the rods on the floor?

    took out the tubes kept the rack for the buts
