    Hummingbirds

I hated to see them go..We had a bunch this year. We built our home 48 years ago & we finally found out that we have a front porch . Watching the birds was very calming. The pandemic has changed a lot of things

We have a bunch every year. Very entertaining and relaxing to just sit and watch.

Yeah, we took our feeders down the other day. Haven’t seen a hummingbird in close to a month.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

Ours were here 4 days ago but I have not noticed them since. I am not always watching for them so I might have just missed them. Wife says she thinks they left. We have been blessed with several this year!

The majority cleared out of here about 2-3 weeks ago. There's still some passing thru, so I leave a feeder or two out.

I'll have a single feeder out into November. My wife and I were watching TV on a Sunday afternoon about 4 years ago in mid-November, and she suddenly said "there's a hummingbird outside!". Sure enough, it was hovering at the french doors looking in. I made up a quick batch of nectar and put it out. He stayed for a day. Extremely rare to see them, but that year we had an unusually rainy and cool spring and I think it delayed a lot of their nesting.

Had one this year come play in the water as I washed our cars this year. He didn't show up last weekend.

Still have a few trickling through. I had one yesterday. Still a few weeks of migration left and our temps in North Arkansas are still warm so I am sure there will be a few more pass by on their way south.

I had several and they all left last week but 2 and they left Monday. I will keep my feeders up a little while longer just in case I have a visitor.

Ours are mostly gone. Had one buzz past last night.

Still have feeders out in case any stragglers migrate through.

Saw a few last week. Going to leave the feeder up for another week in case the Northern birds want to eat on their way South.

I'm gonna miss ours, they are really thinning out, typically by Oct 15 they are gone, we still have a few "stragglers" but they are getting less frequent, at least it may get the ATF off my back about all the sugar we are/were buying

The hummingbirds here were absent yesterday and again today. They're probably on their way south.
