    Vexus customer service

I own a 2020 Vexus AVX 1980 and I noticed in early August that the hull had the dreaded crack. I contacted Vexus on 8/26/01 about the issue. I received a call back from them the next day, advising that they would replace it, and would start as soon as they could. I took my boat to them on 9/12/21 so they could swap everything out. I just picked the new boat up today and I am very happy with my experience with Vexus. The process was quick, easy and the people at Vexus are a bunch of great guys. If anyone has any doubts about Vexus standing behind their boats, you needn’t worry. And if you’ve never been to Flippin, it’s pretty country.

Did you get the unicorn 2022 .125" hull or the normal .100" hull?

I am so ready for my unicorn, I am pretty sure the 2022's have raised lips then the seal on top of the lip for all the FWD compartments. I am sure that is going to help out a ton with water and hopefully the condensation issues in the FWD compartments.

I wonder how the performance hit will be with the added weight.

Added weight is only 40lbs. I would expect them to perform the same or better.
