Still running my 210! This was the last Champion that was made for a sponsored angler on the Elite Series. I’ve owned 12 Champions and bought this one out of the bankruptcy proceedings just so I could have a ride. I recently replaced everything except the fibreglass and the carpet. Still the best boat out there!!!

Hi, Jon!!!!!!
It’s been a while Lea!
I seem to remember he mentioned that boat in a comment on one of his social media pages when someone asked about his favorite boat. It was one of those political answers of "well, my 2021 Xxx is the best boat overall, but my old champion was definitely the best rough water boat I ever owned" type of deals.

All pulled by a Hemi
I don’t know if anyone remembers Mark Rizk ? he was on the Bassmaster circuit for a few years , and came in 2nd at the classic that Woo Daves won ! he ran Champions for years , I bought a 198 off him in 06 !
Yep I remember Mark, Met him at the TOC on Guntersville. He move to Boaz think he still lives there.
I,too, remember him! Thanks for the reminder. Last I saw him, he was working at a Champ dealership at Guntersville. I was at one of the same rallies there as ChampioNman.
World wide and Luke and Charlie all run the charger/champ 210 which is something to say as it is a champion design .
I had forgotten that Watson was in a 210, Jerry. Would love to spend a day on the water with him ...
Harold Allen used to run Champions. I fished a Bassmaster Top 150 with him as an amateur back in 1999. He's running Skeeter now (last I saw).
Mike Reynolds did as well. He had a sweet patriotic wrap that was a favorite.
Morizo Shumizu ran a Champ also. He was running a Ranger before going back to Japan.

I was paired with Reynolds around 2010.....after Champ "went away"...he was in a borrowed Stratos 201 that tournament. Had a good conversation about how lucrative "pro angling" used to be prior to the 08 meltdown.
What a great lady. Took her out on the Mississippi River before the cutoff for the Bass'n Gals Championship several years ago. Didn't put her on enough fish for the win but kept her from smacking any wing dams, which is more than I can say for Penny Berryman's first day on the river with her local guide. She was quite a lady too.
I purchased Mike Reynolds 06 198 that had the wrap these colors don't run . Mike was great to deal with . Meet him at the , 05 classic in Pittsburgh . We made a deal and he gave me the number of Bob's marine in Modesto,California he told me he would let them know I was calling and I could order the colors that I wanted
He was a such a great guy to deal with meet him at table rock for the last tournament gave him the check brought that beauty back to Ohio. He sold me that champ for $26.500 couldn't believe it
Hi, Dean….I’m easily confused. How could you choose the colors when Mikes boat was already built and wrapped? Do you mean colors for a new wrap?
Hi, Lea as I stated this deal was made at the 05 classic witch was held in the end of July . So this deal was made for the 06 champion witch would not be built until around February of 06. The deal wasn't made for the champ he was running at the time it was already spoken for. I hope I explained better
Got ya! I'm a little slow some days!!
Pics?
