The other day I saw that FLW Tom Monsoor was looking to sell his entire collection of 2600 lures.

that's an average of $230 each. I am no expert but I get a weekly email summarizing ebay auctions for old lures, but it is pretty rare to see old Heddon's priced anywhere near that. The ones in the photo aren't in mint condition, they are just hanging on the wall. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have probably a couple hundred old Heddon's from grandpa's and dad's old tackle boxes, and have priced a few, but never ever came close to $230. Maybe the value is in the sheer volume?

There’s lots of Heddon lures that will bring that money and more but you are correct the condition isn’t there. Sometimes condition can be overlooked somewhat if the lure is rare enough. But for the most part condition, condition, condition.
