    Back in a champ

After being boatless the last year, I found an 06 188. Pulled her home from texas last weekend. It had a newer 2015 trailer that rode very well. Looking to get in the bilge area and clean it up a little.

doesnt look too bad other than having to remove the remote oil tank. Also curious to see how big of rods you can get in the locker box.

    Thanks

    Rob

I have a 2003 188. It’s a very nice model. I don’t have any rod racks in my compartments. My longest rod is 8ft and it fits just fine.

My 04 188 has been a dream for me. I have only small gear in the locker so 7'3" is all I put in there.
    Congrats on a sweet rig

Lea I will get some pictures up hopefully later today. Are you guys putting the rods in the right or left locker? My right one seems to be shorter. Thanks again.

I still love the lines of a Champion. This one looks to be well cared for and is a super sharp rig. Congrats

I have the same boat, 06 188 Elite. Almost the same colors, mine is all white with the burgundy arrow. I love mine, no complaints at all. Good you got a newer trailer, I'm looking to do the same in the future.
