Has anyone stayed at Little Pine Cabins, or is there something else close by to spend a few days?

Not a ton to choose from in that area, but we've stayed at the cabins right in the water. Not too bad, but very rustic (no bathrooms inside the cabins, has bunk beds and a porch overlooking the lake). Price was excellent if your just needing a place to lay your head at night.

Wife friendly, I did look at the Cabins/huts on the water.

Little Pines is good. Nothing fancy obviously but the owner keeps it nice and clean (or always has before).

Clean is good, don't care about fancy.

Too bad Angler’s Roost is OOB. That was a great place to stay near the lake.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.

Firefly cabins on the road going in
I have been thinking about fishing there the first of November. Would the fishing be any good then or does the water cool off pretty quick. From Kansas and November our water is pretty cool.

Watch the fishing report, gonna be a lot warmer than Kansas

Birchfield's has cabins right next to Little Pines too, just to the north. 580-889-0481
I've stayed at little pines too, both are great places to stay.
We stayed at Birchfield's Cabins, No problems. Firefly and Little Pine looked nice too. Close and quiet, we were the only ones at Birchfield's.
Wednesday was cloudy all day, caught a lot of fish, some keepers, but no giants. Water temp was 70. Local said he caught some 3lb's deep, 25 to 30 ft. Rest of the week was a little slower, but it was a good trip.
