So we all know the bug issues so I’m not going to beat a dead horse. What I’m interest in seeing is if anyone out there running the same set up with the latest update . I just want to see if it will fix the bugs and not create more . Thanks folks!

I updated my Helix 9, 10 G3N and a 10 G4N on my boat. For once, no bugs that I noticed. The random shallow water highlight is gone too.

You're looking for something that could be impossible to find amongst members.The newest update isn't for G2 so I'm not sure how its relevant.

It’s relevant because I have a helix 9 g3n I’m debating on updating and I want to see if anyone else running a setup like mine who has updated theirs and are not having glitches.

I have a Helix 9 MSI G3N and a Helix 9 MDI G3N networked together and updated both to version 2.660 this week...both units working great...no more shallow water highlights on Lakemaster were not set and if I choose the Navionics map card instead of Lakemaster and turn unit off it will reboot to Navionics (one in use when shut off) not default to Lakemaster like before. Units work flawlessly prefishing all day thursday and all day today tournament fishing...I do update mine in the house with nothing connected to them but a battery and all SD cards removed. Never have had an issue updating that way.

I've been hesitant to do any updates because everything has been working for the most part. Any issues I have had a simple reset usually gets it fixed up.

I'll be following this post to see if this update is worthwhile or not.

It is required if you get the MEGA LIVE=== no update = no LIVE.

Mega live isn’t compatible for earlier model G2 Helix models I was told,,,,only G3 and up models
