Be a decent size Tournament out of Holcombs ramp Friday and Saturday. At least a 100 boats
Also one out of Conley and burnside- gonna be hopping
Darn, was going to Conley (middle) in hopes of staying away from both ends
Yeah boats everywhere today. Down at pro bass - well over 1 million in rigs in parking lot today. Looked like a new boat show
We should grow the sport some more
Guess guys getting stuff for tourney. Seen one of those 100k tritons - looked better in person. A lot of nice trucks too-guys wearing jerseys and fancy pants- I left feeling the need to go straight and trade my truck and get an 87 k GMC Sierra !
NTBA Fall Classic out of Halcomb's today and tomorrow. Angler's Outpost puts it on and gives out $10k to winners plus all the bonus monies based on boat brand/dealership/etc. Probably 150 or so boats fishing it so that explains the crowd.
Anybody here what it took to win the tournament?
25lbs over 2 days
They aint got hands, set the hook
Went to Laurel Saturday, was super tough on us, only caught 1 good SM. Went to Cumberland Sunday and caught the SM good in the morning but it got tough in the afternoon. Should have went to Cumberland both days!
Cumberland was tough on us over the weekend. Just couldn't find a consistent bite shallow or out deep. Caught a few out of trees and brushpiles but overall it was a really slow bite. Water was still 62-65 from Conley Bottom to Pitman Creek.
I felt lucky to catch the few fish I did catch.
Any update to cumberland
