Has anyone been on Honeoye recently? I saw some Facebook videos showing the nasty algae and weeds from a couple of weeks ago. I'm heading to a rental there tomorrow, for the weekend, and was wondering what shape it may be in. If it's nasty, I may not even bother dropping the boat in and just go fish at Conesus or Canandaigua instead.

The algae on the surface was really bad a few weeks ago. I was there last weekend after we got some heavy rain and that seemed to mix the water up quite a bit and it had that chocolate milk color. Fishing was very slow, but I did manage to catch a few in the grass.
