Graph Glass is the real deal!

Yup, I caught that one in a million shot, a 3/4 oz jig right to the center of my HDS12 Carbon. A few weeks ago while rigging my new to me boat, I installed Graph Glass on both of my units. As you can imagine my heart was in my throat when I saw the broken screen. I carefully removed the Graph Glass and amazingly as described, the screen was perfect. This stuff is the shizz! They claim it's warrantied for a year so I will contact them to see how tha goes. In any event, the best $60 I ever spent..... IMG_2003.JPG

Not terribly, I don't run brightness at 100% either. It's amamzing how much more battery drain there is when running 100% bright.

I took a PLASTIC razor blade and carefully got a corner to lift I also used the suction cup used for installation to help lift it off. It took a bit of trial and error to get the suction cup to stick though. Once it started to lift it came off pretty easy.

A little update, I emailed Precision Sonar and explained what happened. I sent them a picture of the screen, and a copy of my receipt. I paid for shipping, and had a new protector in less than a week.

Where do you find this product? I have a Helix 7 that hangs precariously on the right side of the console. I’m a side arm caster and have whacked it a time or two, without damage so far.

It may not stop everything, but it sure worked for me. I just think of all the years I didn't have it and nothing happened. Three weeks after I installed it, bullseye!

Okay, I googled it and found it. I have a question about the Anti-glare Graph Glass. Does it take away some of the details of the image? Whenever I look at my Helix 7 I see my reflection better than what’s on the screen.

Honestly can't say, I purchased the clear. I read some reviews where some didn't like the anti-glare. You may have to do some searching on that.
