Spot on and great insight. Wish I had known that when I ordered my Z21XL boat back in May. In addition to what you have mentioned above I found the AT clamp installed upside down and the 3-1 ducer installed on the wrong channel port at the console and no sidescan. Things are working but I am still working out some minor issues while trying to figure out how they rigged everything. I came from Humminbird so the transition as been a big learning process. Love the Lowrance products and will never go back but, it sure would have been nice to have configuration schematic. I made my own and think I have it figured out.

good lord. Were you laying in wait to correct someone? I know what it is for, as you can deduce by the fact I want it mounted up front for better responsiveness.
