    Covered bridge

There are 3 covered bridges in the county where I live. Got some pics of one yesterday.

It is called Loy Station just north of Frederick MD. There are 3 covered bridges in Frederick County.

I have one about a 1-1/2 from my house(Gilpin Falls bridge) it is no longer used for traffic and hasn't been for many years but has been refurbished.

Nice pic. There's a covered bridge I would drive by sometimes and always thought that it would make a good picture. I just never had time to stop or had a camera with me.

Thanks, I am 3 classes into learning what I am doing. This bridge is about 20 minutes from me so figured it would be a good practice place. Turned into a quick Photoshop lesson also to get rid of an electrical line and road sign. Looks a lot better without the obstructions.

I'm still learning myself. I haven't taken any classes but I have thought about it in the past and definitely wouldn't mind doing so. I have a Canon EOS 6D.

The class has been great putting together all of what I learned from trying to self-learn. It is well worth the time if you want to get better.

    I shoot a Nikon D5200
