fall is almost here, my favorite time to fish
Same here, the best time to be on the water!
ME, TOO...... BUT. If the pickerel would give the bass a chance I would like it better.
I was out the other day and got 14. 12 pickerel and 2 bass. I even changed baits many
times and the toothy critters still got first bite.
BUT... love the weather so much more than summer.

yah the slime bite is back on by us too in NEPA. it was really strong at the beginning of summer when bass came in. one day 42 pickerel to 30 LM's. i mean they are fun and all but it gets old kinda quick unless they are thick.
it really is the best time of the year. we were able to stay out last year till the week before thanksgiving.
