    Collar not staying tight

I can't get the collar on my Force TM to stay tight for more than a day. I have cranked on it pretty hard (dont want to break it) but eventually during the day it will loosen and the shaft will slowly slip to the bottom. Anyone else have this issue? Loc-Tite maybe?

I believe I would call Garmin about it. They make a replacement collar kit.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

    Garmin's response.
"Based on your trolling motor serial number it looks like you have an older designed depth adjustment collar. I've setup an order for a newly designed one to be sent out to you. You'll get an email with a link that will take you to the Garmin site to complete the order free of charge."
I hope they print directions on how to take off the old one though. Seems like the head or motor will need to come off.
