I haven’t fished it since June. Thinking about hitting it and Grand next week in this good weather.
If I do, I will report.

We were on the upper end last Sunday caught alot of smaller fish including smallmouth most in the pound to two pound range. Needs cooler water to start getting good.

Fished the from the bridge down to the lower lake yesterday.
Guys at the ramp with pontoon said fishing was tough-too many shad balls every where.
We went out and got blanked. That hasn’t happened all year.
Saw some small schools hitting shad in main lake and back in coves. They wouldn’t hit a rattle trap.
Threw some wacky worms late. Probably would fish plastics deep next time-but what do I know?
    Good luck.
It was a pretty day on the lake though and I had a good time talking with my grandson.
Restaurant was open at Burnt Cabin and he enjoyed lunch.
Most other Marina’s are closed for the season.
Burnt Cabin restaurant closes for the season October 23.
They are only open Fri. Sat and sun.
    Good luck!

Thanks Bearetta. Sounds like a good day on the water anyway.

Water was 77 degrees. It needs to cool down is right.
Hopefully nights in the 50”s will do it a bit.
