Lowrance HDS 10 Radar Issue
The problem continues:
I have a HDS 10 w/ a Lowrance 3G Scanner that I determined had a problem.
Was able to locate and purchase a Simrad 3G Scanner that I installed. It appears to work. The HDS10 recognizes the Scanner, I can see it in the installation menu, it goes into Transmit, but I don't see any returns on the screen........all I get is a red dot in the middle of the screen, I also reset the device in the installation menu.
Any/all help is appreciated.

Do you know the new (or maybe used?) radar works? These radars have quite a few years on them by now.

Actually not sure it is 100% functional.
I am going to call Lowrance and give them my latest findings to see what they say.
The guy I purchased it from is willing to work with me if it doesn't function.

I was informed (by Lowrance) that the Red Dot indicates that the Scanner is not functioning, going to return it.
Are there any other options for a used Scanner besides the 3G?
