    Solix Heading

I have a Solix with a heading sensor on the bow. The icon is set to on heading up, but the line is based on the COG. How do I change that to be the heading line?

Heading is separate from Course (lime green line).

GPS does Course and a Heading Sensor (compass) does Heading.

When a Heading Sensor is detected, it controls the position icon (boat symbol). You can add a Heading Line (orange) in the Chart menu settings:

You can actually have both of them on and that can be helpful to be sure that the heading sensor is perfectly aligned with the boat. I leave both lines on and so the lines should be one on top of the other when going at enough speed for GPS to be accurate. If they are not, you can use the Heading Sensor Offset in the Networking settings to correct the heading sensor line. Once that is complete, then turn off the GPS line and leave the Heading line on... As per Wayne's instructions above.
