    2021 Bullet 300R Merc

Hey guys, trying to figure out what would be my best option.
    I recently bought a 2021 Bullet XRS with a 2020 300 Racing Mercury 4 stroke with a Sport Master & 28P Bravo.
About 65 hours on the engine.
My dilemma is, my son just joined the B.A.S.S high school bass fishing league at his school and BASS has a 250 Max HP rule.
Should I just sell the boat and buy another one with a 250? or Trade it.
Or would I be better off finding someone with a 250 Merc that would be willing to swap engines?
I am not opposed to finding another boat but we do love our Bullet.
    TIA.

Trade the motor + cash. There's plenty of people with 250s that are waiting for a 300r.

I’d do my best to find a 250 to put on there

Oh yeah, my boats rated for a 300. I have a 250 with about 60 hrs that I would trade with you, but it's a 2017 2 stroke Opti I got in 2019....haha

If I was in this position and could afford to do so, I would keep the Bullet just as it is and look for a used boat for my son to use in his tourneys.

Agree, and if I couldn't afford to do this, I would allow my son to earn the money to pay for his boat. I wouldn't butcher the Bullet!

Keep the bullet for your own use, and buy him a 250hp or under boat.

Post on the Bullet forum below. Might find someone who would want to work out a trade on a 250.

Keep the 300R and teach him how to fish without being in a tourn. setting. Way more fun.

You will find guys willing to trade their 250r for your 300r. Make them pay for rigging.

I'm betting you could do this fairly easy. Lots of guys would love to upgrade to a 300
