    Mercury 150 high rpm?

    I have a 2014 Mercury 150 and have a rpm little over 900 at idle and when kicked in gear. Feel like I'm going to fast when loading boat on trailer and pulling up to dock. Can I should I turn down the rpms/Idle??

    Three items needed here:

    1. Complete serial number (you're missing a digit)

    2. Do you have a HOTFOOT or a Hand-Throttle?

    3. RPM's coming from a DIGITAL readout, SMARTCRAFT instrument?

    Idle speed is PCM controlled.
