RIP To a Legend..
RIP Sir would have loved to met ya! God Speed and thoughts to the family.
RIP Mr. Storie, you were one of the best ever!
RIP Me Storie.
In peace John.
Storie stories, I know Matt will have some also.
First time I met John.
Was in Mt. Home, picking up a boat, bringing back a boat. So it was '85. That poor 184 had the guts ran out of it. 600 ish hours, the passenger seat and handrail were all bent up from demo riders. You gotta think about how hard that is to do.
Bill Pace had me in his office. He was just ragging my butt down hard, you don't ever mistreat a boat like that, how in the heck can you do that? This thing looks like it's fifteen years old, boy, this is gonna be the last boat you get from us.
John heard the commotion, came into Bills office, we shook hands, he looked me straight in the eye and said, how many demo rides have you done this year? 1,200 I can document, might be a few more. He said really? Absolutely. He looked at Bill, give him whatever he wants, and you keep him going, whatever he needs.
So, needless to say, I was a John Storie fan from the beginning.

RIP Mr. Storie.... Your Champion Legacy will live on forever. I certainly hope someone will write a book or build a boat honoring our Mt. Home boat builder!

Another great man gone from this world. Great innovators and thinkers are hard to find. He left behind proof he was both. RIP For any family he left behind!
Sorry to hear this. Praying for his family and friends.
