Is a Yamaha 25 T2 a direct replacement for a 25 T1?

Have a 21i class With a 250 VMAX HDPI. Need to replace the current Yamaha 25 T1 prop. The T1 is no longer available. I understand the 25 T2 is not vented, dealers say it won't matter. Also spoke with Yamaha customer service, they say the T2 is the Yamaha direct replacement. Any information would be appreciated.

if you can find a vented prop it will work better on a hpdi .

The SHO T2 is a direct replace for the SHO T1, both are non-vented props. Except the T1 had thinner walls and was a Better performing prop. The Vmax T1 which is a vented prop has no direct replacement. The hpdi engine does much better with the vented props

have a V max T-1 that I might sell? I am trying another prop and IF it runs as good or better I will be selling it in the very near future.
