    Optimax losing power

2010 mercury optimax 150 on 2011 Nitro Z7 Sport. Engine will run great for first 20 or 30 minutes running from spot to spot then will not plane easily and get over 4200 RPM after warmed up. Hesitates and surges at wide open throttle. Recent fuel pump replacement, new gas lines and fuel filter in May for similar issue and ran fine until my last 2 trips. Fresh gas and always treated with stabil and quickcleen. Any thoughts?

I would probably post this in the mercury forum.... and be ready for a series of questions and tests, they're no joke there.

Having an 2000 optimax 150 on previous boat, my guess is tracker valve. It's a surge control valve from air rail to fuel rail.

As posted above, ask on Mercury chats.

Motor getting hot? Good water pressure? No alarms?
