    Little split ring trick.

Don't know if this has been written or described here or not but anyway, if you have had trouble with tying crankbaits
like #5 or 6 Shad Rap with those little tiny round split rings and always the knot ends up in the groove where the
wire starts and finishes (especially with light line and palomar knot, try this. Go ahead and tie it and let it do that. Then, cut the line with a little
tag of main line left. Then, tie it again, the second knot will go around the first knot buried in the groove. Then cut off the first knot or not.If your like me and can't see this tiny
stuff, it's easier than trying it 5 times until the knot is not in the split.

That's why "oval" split rings were invented. They're really "oblong", but they fix the problem anyway.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
