2019 zx250 trailer rust

Fellas,
any of you guys have rust issues on one of the newer skeeter trailers? What’s the best fix? I have several locations (fenders where you step on and the cross beam up front beneath the bow) that are def rustling. A dude at the marina told me just to spray seal with a good can of paint. My preferred mechanic told me to sand it to metal and respray. Sanding to metal in some of the spots will be difficult due to location and the textured coating will be a pain to remove. Thx, scott

Stay away from salt water. I know that's hard to do in FL, but that's probably your problem.
