Carb Gasket Sealer, Yes or No J150STLESB

Finished rebuilding carbs today, I purchased some gasket sealer but closer look at the manual and it states:

Carb to Manifold: “Install new carb base gaskets dry, use no sealer”

Carb to Silencer base: “Install the air silencer base gaskets dry, use no sealer”

Silencer Base to Air Box Cover: ”Install new gasket to air silencer cover” no mention of “dry” or “sealer”

Just trying to get this right first time around, wanted to make sure this is correct. All the bases are cleaned well and the old gaskets came off rather easily.

Old needles had rubber tips, BRP kits have metal tips. Is one better than the other?

BTW, middle carb had some miniscule trash in the seat, I believe that’s what was causing my issue.

    Thank you
