Love the dependability but that front grill is terrible. Totally destroys the esthetics of it.

In a 2017 Tundra with 170k miles right now. My company will hopefully be buying me a new one soon, maybe it'll be this.

Game changer! That is, if the game is to manufacture the fugliest truck out there.

Good thing is the towing and interior are improved, and the engine has some tuning upside with turbos. Knowing Toyota the guts will remain unchanged for the next decade so they have plenty of time to redo the exterior cosmetics.

Glad to see they kept their steel frames, they have had such good luck with those.

Torque is cool but they actually made it uglier than the newer chevys. If I were buying new it would have to be a Ford or ram based on looks.

No V8, I’m out. I’m just an oldie I suppose, but I do love the sound of em’. Think I’ll stay with my 5.0 Coyote in my F150 for now.

The hybrid is going to have a nickel-metal hydride battery for a gain of 48hp. This is old school tech. Probably wont last 5 years. This will probably mean we won't see a full electric for a while. Maybe they will come up with better batteries and range by then.

Not crazy about the looks. I agree that the front grill looks somewhat ugly. Waiting to see more details about the engines, estimated MPGs, the look of the double cab, and the available features with the double cab. I really want that panoramic moon roof but I suspect it will only be available with the 1974 Crewmax Cab. After waiting for this truck for a couple years now, I will say that I am rather underwhelmed with the release.
