This is pretty true, I don't see many in the work force, and i commute a good distance, you rarely see one commercial use.

Most commercial trucks I see are 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. If you want to see Toyotas 1/2 or 1/4 tons being used in rough conditions look anywhere else in the world sans America. We are the land of huge trucks with one driver, no passengers and hauling a bag of mulch.

I'd agree. I actually saw my first ever Tundra with a flatbed on it. I had to do a double take. Never seen it before.

You guys crack me up. The whole rest of the world uses Toyota trucks in really harsh conditions and many are used as assault vehicles in 3rd world countries. Not Ford, Chevy or Ram.

The rest of the world really uses Mopeds as their work horses.....

I have always taken the business name off the sides of our trucks before we sold them or traded them in.

Same story with every new release, everyone hates how they look. After seeing them in person and getting used to seeing them on the roads suddenly people stop complaining about the looks. Heck even the Nissan truck doesn’t look bad to me anymore.

The front grill is hideous looking compared to previous models. Never understood the penchant manufacturers have to put a White Freightliner grill on their pickups. The fender wells looks like leftovers from a 2014-15 GMC truck. And I see hints of a Pontiac Aztek in there somewhere.
Other than that, it’s a Toyota. It will sell.

Hopefully the educated idiot, bean counter that decided to delete all the features over the years like the transmission cooler, driver's side grab handle, dual hvac controls, dual glove box, lighted door bottoms and ignition ring, amber flashers/signals and sliding console on SR5's, has been either fired or transferred to the Prius line where they belong! I can't see the Tundra being a serious player in the full sized truck market, with offerings like the cobbled-together looking 2022.

He won't drive anything that won't get over 20 mpg towing.

The pro endorsements for trucks are hilarious sometimes. KVD getting 20 mpg with a jacked up Toyota stuffed to the gills with tackle towing a boat. Or Swindle claiming that making sure his tundra is level really pumps up the mpg.

Everyone knows that if Ford or GM or Ram became a sponsor KVD and Swindle would jump ship. Been said many times here...its a business. Remember Quantam rods and reels? Hard to imagine a better tow vehicle for a bass boat and gear than an F250 /Powerstroke. I am biased however.

They do but they are not the same trucks we get here in the states....

An Excursion with a 7.3 really is the tow vehicle.......
