    BassCat Caracal length on trailer

    Basscat lists the Caracal as 23' shortest length. I've seen other people online talk about the Caracal being 22' on the trailer. What is the standard jack plate length? Just curious what the true length is with swing tongue. My garage straight in is 20' but has a bump out for motor so 24'.

    BCB dimensions include an 8” jackplate. They tend be either right on or list slightly long. My 2020 Caracal is 22’4” from the very front to the furtherest aft of the entire rig…not just the trailer. This is with the tongue folded and a Mercury 225 ProXS 4S straight back. I have an 8” manual JP.
